MY LOVE

I have a page to share today that I created using the August sketch from Once Upon A Sketch. The journalling theme for the month of August was 'The men in our lives...'. It was the perfect theme as I created this page for my sisters wedding album and it all about her main man.

"My Love"

I have lots of white space on this layout which is a bit different for me. but I had this photo taken from a distance and I just had to use it and by making everything on the page smaller I was able to make it the focus.

Materials Used

Prima Something Blue Stickers
Crafters Workshop Mini Hexagons Template
Prima Flowers Assorted
Kaisercraft Rub Ons
Kaisercraft Pearls
Shimmerz Magenta
Prima Pastel Green Chalk Ink
Prima Pastel Blue Chalk Ink
Prima Resin Frame
String
Gesso

Prima Engraver Mini Album

Hello!!

Today I would like to share a mini album I created using the Prima Engraver Collection. Because of the beautiful neutral tonings of this collection it makes it perfect to do something along these lines with. All papers and embellishments mix and match so well together making creating so much easier.

This is quiet a photo lengthy post but I hope you enjoy!!

"Family" Mini Album

I created a beautiful dimensional floral arrangement for the front cover of the album. I even incorparated some of the Prima packaging.

I have made a pocket and insert a tag for easy hidden journalling under my photo on the left side, while on the right side I created and mini album on the page to add a bit of extra wow. It also has a tag pocket for more journalling.

I love the patterns on the papers they are stunning. Almost to nice to cut up.

I have not over embellished the pages just added a few bits and pieces here and there.

I created even more pockets on these pages one is for journalling again while the other is just to tuck a photo away or a tag that has a beautiful floral print on it. I love the ticket stubbs.

More journalling tags hidden and layers of the patterned papers in the backgrounds for added interest.

On the right side I created a big pocket to tuck away and memorabilia that there might be or as I used mine for extra photos.

So there you have my finished mini album. I hope it has inspired you to have a go at creating one of your own.

I added hints of dusty rose ribbon throughout the album to add a feminine splash of colour and a few of the Prima Resin Treasures as they just blended so well with the look I was going for. I distressed all the edges and then dust lightly with dark chocolate ink.

Materials used - Prima Engraver Collection - Atlas, Cessello, Bank Note, Black Leaf, Cartouche, Calligraphy, Roulette, Arcade, #563479 Engraver 12x12 Journalling Spot Stickers, #564575 Engraver Fabric Flower Pack Light Brown, #565602 Engraver Daisies, Engraver Cling Acrylic Stamp No1, Bo Bunny Essentials Small Doilies & Lace pack.

All materials listed are available from Sassy Scrapper.

Well I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Prima Engraver - Sassy Scrapper GDT

Hi everyone!!!

Well time has flown way to fast, I simply can't believe just how fast this year is going. Last month I did another Guest Design Team spot at Sassy Scrapper. Once again I would love to thank Olga again for having me. Today I have have another layout to share that I created with the wonderful Prima Engraver.

"Love"

Oh how do I love the browns in this collection and I chose to go with a full colour photo this time to make the photo pop. Once again lots of layers and fussy cutting.

To add extra detail to the behind my photo I used a gorgeous Bo Bunny doily and also the Prima Engraver logo, the dark chocolate of this worked beautifully.

I created some contrasting rolled paper scrolls from scraps of patterned paper to add an extra wow to the page.

March Guest Designer - Sassy Scrapper

Hello!!

I am thrilled that Olga from Sassy Scrapper asked me to return to be a Guest Designer for the month of March.

So this month Olga created a stunning kit for me to work with, the main feature being the Prima Engraver Collection. This collection is stunning!! I love the clocks and the neutral browns....aaahhh really enjoying working with this kit.

So today I have a layout to share.

"TIME"

Materials used - Prima Engraver Collection - Calligraphy, Cartouche, Atlas, Arcade, Prima Fabric #564575 Flowers Light Brown & #565602 Daisies. Twiddleybitz Roam Clock Large With Hands, Kaisercraft Pearls Blush.

All products are available from the Sassy Scrapper Shop.

I cut the Twiddleybitz clock into three pieces and disgarded the solid the centre piece. This allowed me to use it more as a frame. I chose to leave the chipboard natural as it worked nicely with this collection. To give this page a feminine feel I added the Blush pearls to the frame.

As I have a love for dimension I fussy cut the clocks and other circular pieces from the patterned paper and created lots of layers. I then topped with the beautiful Prima flowers.

All elements on this page have been hand cut, call my crazy but i love how it turned out.

Thanks for dropping by

Prima Rosarian - "Happy"

Today I have another page to share that I created using the gorgeous Prima Rosarian Collection. I just love the colours and with colours like these I just love to make them pop by creating with a black background.

"Always Happy"

Materials Used available from Sassy Scrappers.

#559014 - Rosarian Tiny Alpha Cardstock Stickers
#558949 - Rosarian Chipboard Stickers
#559229 - Rosarian Decorative Wood Embellishments
#844523 - Rambler
#844530 - Constance
#844547 Darby
#844516 - Old Garden
#844561 - Felicity
#844554 - Bocella
#844585 - Alba
#561413 - Interlude Flowers
Black Cardstock

Other - Organza ribbon, Cheery Lynn butterfly dies, Martha Stewart Border Punch & Spellbinders Doily Dies.

Once again my page is packed with dimension. The pattern on the backside of the DARBY patterned paper was fussy cut and layered and then to add a splash of colour I also fussy cut some of the flowers from the OLD GARDEN patterned paper to create my corner cluster.

Again I have created many banners, staggered and layered them to create my background. I cut a 10 cm strip away from the top of the RAMBLER patterned paper and then attached the rest to a piece of black cardstock so the background top was less busy.

So after creating both of my layouts I had exhausted most of the papers that come with the kit , so I also wanted to share a card that I created with the scraps that I had left.

"Love"

Kaisercraft Aqua Rhinestones
Kaisercraft Ice Blue Rhinestones

Other - Organza ribbon, Cheery Lynn butterfly dies & Spellbinders Doily Dies.

As with all of my projects this card has lots of layers. I created my own banners and paper shapes for my layers and topped it off with a big pink butterfly cut from a Cheery Lynn Die. I think any of my friends would love to receive this card and it has all been made totally from scraps.
