2015 Prima Design Team Application

Hello Peeps!

Welcome to my 2015 Prima Design Team application.

I would like to thank Prima for taking the time to review my application.

This last year has seen many changes in my scrapping style but 2 things haven't changed, my love of fussy cutting, the need for my pages to have dimension. I have always had a great love for all things Prima. I have found that as my style has changed and evolved and is now incorporating mixed media Prima products allow me the creative freedom to continue with a style that is true to me but add a little more wow factor. I love to create pages that can be full, highly embellished and dimensional or that are arty and clean with lots white space. White space has kind of become my signature. I would describe my style as very layered with lots of detail, clean execution and structure with the focus still being on the photo.

I like to create controlled arty textured water coloured mixed media backgrounds for my main cluster to sit upon but just enough to have a splash of colour and texture peeping out to make my cluster POP!

I have applied the colour bloom spray with a paint brush and blended with a baby wipe so it is applied only to my desired area.

Other - Luminatre - Raspberry Wine, Kaisercraft Rub Ons, Dusty Attic Chipboard & Assorted Cotton Thread.

I sprinkled the mica powder in the places I wanted it to go and lightly misted with water. I have applied the colour bloom spray with a paint brush as opposed to spraying. I like to create and have more control over where the colour lands.
