TCR #105 - Our Sweet Boy

Friday Greetings!!!

Not to long now until the Easter Bunny makes his visit. The kids are starting to get very excited, well my little man anyone. My daughter is to in a way as this is the first year she knows the truth about who the easter bunny really is.

I have a page to share today created for Manor House Creations but featured at The Color Room for colour palette 105.

Here is the palette...

Totally loved this palette and it was perfect to scrap my special little man. Here is what I come up with.

Lots of lovely layers...

I have used the Fantasy Moonlight Flower as the base for my cluster. I thinned both the blue and yellow Sprinkles to create a less full flower and then spritzed the yellow Sprinkles with Decadence glimmermist to create a yellowish-brown flower, to compliment my page and to make them a little bit more boyish.

The Color Room - #56 Colour Palette

OK so I have managed 2 posts in one day, now that is a record for me. Well our public holiday is nearly over which means back to the same old same old again...lol. I do hope that you have all had an enjoyable weekend.

I was stoked to have my last page featured at The Color Room and couldn't resist but to play along again. This week it is back to the her room palette and the colours were absolutely gorgeous.

Pastel colours are so out of my zone, but I simply love how this page finished up.

Color Room Palette #55

Tuesday Greetings!!

Hope you all had a wonderful easter. We stayed home and had a quiet one but it was really enjoyable to spend time with family, watching movies, playing games and just having good old family fun.

I decided to play along with the Colour Room palette again this week. The pallete was yummy and bright and I couldn't help myself I just had to give it a go. We were back to a "Family Room" colour palette and here it is...



And this was my interpretation of it..


I used some of the Bo Bunny Gabrielle range, pieces from Websters Pages, Kaisercraft paper blossums, Jenni Bowlin Alphas, Basic Grey Alphas, Prima packaging, Bo Bunny Timepiece gems, raw cardboard and paint.

Scrap The Boys...

Happy hump day...lol

I found this great blog called Scrap The Boys, if you haven't found it yet you should go and check it out especially if you have little boys. Genarally I find myself scrapping so many pages of my daughter my little man seems to get left out. I have scrapped a few pages of him lately and have really enjoyed playing with more boyish colours, so when I found Scrap The Boys I couldn't resist but to play along.

The challenge for April is to get inspired by an outfit that your son or husband wears to create a layout. You needed to use the photo of the outfit (obviously being worn by your son or hubby) and the inspiration could be the colours, patterns, textures etc...

Well I chose to use the colour of his clothes as the inspiration behind my page. So the colours are orange, green, brown (on the inner edge of his colar) & creamy colour of the tabs on his shorts.

Here is my interpretation...



As I already had some leftovers of Bo Bunny Timepiece on my desk I chose to use them up as the colours would work perfectly for this challenge. I also used various shades of green and cream with the one bright orange flower and hints of orange on the butterflies to balance it out.

The Color Room #53 Colour Palette

Sunday greetings!!

How has everybodies weekend been?. Mine has been great had a wonderful time last night scrapping with the girls until the early hours of the morning. Must have been the company because I managed to finish 2 pages in one night which is a great accomplishment for me.

I decided I would play along this week with the "Boys Room" colour palette over at The Color Room. When I saw it I couldn't resist..
