Altered Mini Canvas

Hi peeps!!

Dropping in today to share and altered mini canvas created with Fabscraps Beach Affair collection. I have to admit I did struggle using this collection but I am happy with my finished projects for The Scrapbook Store.

So this is my mini canvas..

'Altered Mini Canvas'

So true to my normal style it is quiet shabby and has lots of layers. I have used a chipboard yacht out of the Blue Fern Studios Nautical set to create the mast out of the top of the canvas to give it a little extra height.

I fussy cut the shells from the Under The Sea #2 and Lighthouse patterned papers and layered in through the canvas. I also added some cute little chipboard anchors from the Blue Fern Studios Nautical set.

I layered a few small beach shells of various sizes and also added some cotton gauze for extra softness and texture. I painted the Petaloo white flowers to blue and then washed all flowers with gesso.

Sunshine

Hi Everyone!!

Quick share today of a page created using the new Beach Affair Collection by Fabscraps. I will not lie this collection really drew me a creative curve ball, but eventually something came to mind and I really like how it turned out.

'Sunshine'

I fussy cut out all of the shells as they were of a colouring book type of appearance and coloured them with a light wash of Twinkling H20's African Jade & Indian Copper. Once coloured I created 2 clusters of them and placed either side of my frame.

I added quiet a bit of texture to my background and again gave it a light wash of colour.

I coloured the flowers so that they were a slightly darker contrasting colour for my page.

Elegant Chic - Father

Howdy!!

Just stopping in for a quick share of my final page for The Scrapbook Store for the month. I was given the pleasure of creating with Fabscraps Elegant Chic. I chose to go quiet soft with the colours on this one to allow the photo to be the main focus on the page.

"Father"

I did quiet a bit of fussy cutting to create the layers behind my photo and also added a bit of background texture as well to compliment the papers.

Elegant Chic - Family

I have a page to share today that I created using the gorgeous Fabscraps Elegant Chic collection available from The Scrapbook Store. As it is a very girly collection in beautiful shades of pink and grey I wanted to show it could be used for a unisex page by drawing from the greys and blacks.

'Family'

I was also inspired by the colours of the beautiful Petaloo textured blossums.
