You Shine & New Design Team

Today I have a page to share created for the Novemeber sketch challenge at The Scrapbook Store and also some fantastic news of a new design team position.

So my new design team position will be with Dusty Attic! I am so excited to be starting with this amazing team in January 2015.

 I simply can't wait...lol.

Ok now to the sketch challenge. I really enjoyed creating with this sketch and as always I think I managed to make it my own. I chose to go a little abstract this month but all the elements are there on the page.

So this is the sketch

This year for halloween the kids wanted to go all out with face paint and costumes, so we did and I loved the fact that my little man would actually stand still and let me take some photos.

And this is my take on the sketch.

"You Shine"

I chose to off centre the sketch by pushing everything to the right. I used the outside scrap frame from the Fabscraps chipboard gate as the main background frame.

I did my own hand stitching using a thick thread for an added feature. I added lots of texture and colour to my background to frame my photo.
