I have another Manor House Creations project to share today. We had to create a page that contained 10 or more flowers. Well for me this is normally pushing it, but I managed to it.

Materials used - Teresa Collins Designs - Carolina Breeze Collection, MHC Blossums - Esperance, MHC Blossums - Avoca, MHC Plain Janes, ribbon, spellbinders butterfly and scalloped doily dies, Kaisercraft sentiment rub ons & sun sister Glimmermist.

I just love the photo of my daughter and her friends before their graduation disco. It is one photo I could easily scrap over and over again.

Party Animal!!

Greetings Everyone!!

Have a fun page to share today. It is of my darling son pulling one of his many faces but this time captured perfectly.

To create my page I used - Kaisercraft Party Animals, MHC Blossums - Avoca,ribbon, Spellbinders doily die & Martha Stewart Daisy Edge Punch.

We had tho choose our favourites flowers from the MHC range and I chose the blossoms. The BLOSSOMS are my favourite flowers as they come in a variety of colours and I also love the fact that they are smaller and come in 2 different sizes. They are perfect to use as they are or to build your own flowers as I have.

Christmas Angel

Hi Everyone!!

How is everyone going with their christmas shopping? I have been good this year and have had it all finished now for a good 2 weeks. I do hope you all have a wonderful christmas.

I have a couple of things to share today. We all got into the festive spirit at Manor House Creations for this months adding lots of gorgeous christmas inspired projects. I decided to do a Christmas Angel, but in non traditional colours. I chose to go with creams and browns.

To create my angel I used Twiddleybitz Miss Charlotte Dress Form & Angel Wings, MHC - Prior Rose - Chocolate, MHC - Oak Leaves - Green, The Scrapcake - Cozy Xmas, Ribtek gems, feathers, ribbon and tulle.

I have had this dress form for months after purchasing it from one of the craft shows this year and being totally inspired by the finished projects there, so finally after all this time I finally got to play with it.

My second project to share today is a page I created for Bella Paperie. I was lucky enough to be working with the gorgeous Beautiful Dreamer Collection by Glitz Designs. I just loved this collection and the colours of pink and brown are among my favourites colours to scrap with.

This photo is of my daughter and her best friends all ready for their graduation disco. These papers just suited perfectly.

To create my page I used Glitz Designs Beautiful Dreamer Toile & Stripe patterned papers, Spellbinders doily and butterfly dies, Glimmermist Pink Bubble, assorted hatpins, Kaisercraft Dark Brown Pearls, ribbon and assorted roses. All product is available from Bella Paperie at Brendale.

Santa Baby!!

Saturday Greeting!!!

So I have been a little behind with my posts, so much stuff going on here and with it being this time of the year I don't think you will find anyone that isn't slightly behind.

While I was doing some christmas shopping I come across this mask in Myer. As soon as I saw it I had an idea of what I wanted to do with. I had to totally alter it from what is was, which was blue and covered in glitter...and I mean a lot of glitter.

So I set out stripping and painting and painting some more. I took a trip to Spotlight and grabbed some feathers which were on sale due to the Melbourne Cup....Bonus!!

So this is how my idea turned out...

I used the gorgeous Manor House Creations Silver Bells and MHC Ballroom - Tango.

The ‘Silver bells’ flowers are soft and delicate with their pretty gemstone and pearl centres. I used the centre of a Ballroom – Tango flower to give my mask a bit of flair.

Well had better be getting going the kids are calling for lunch.

Today I have a couple of Manor House projects to share the first is one of my favourites. I just love this picture of my daughter and I knew I wanted to create something a little different.

I did a lot of fussy cutting and lots of layering of the gorgeous Bo Bunny Gabrielle range and added some beautiful Manor House Creations flowers.

Butterfly Wishes Wishing Well

Tuesday greetings!!

I have something to share today that I created purely for me. I went to the craft show a few months back and found the Twiddleybitz stand and quiet a few dollars later I ended up with lots of stuff to play with. This little wishing well is one of the many pieces purchased.

I wanted to make my wishing well look old, distressed and rusty so I played with some texture paste added some Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Stain and this is what come from it.

I added some beautiful Prima vines and Scrapmatts butterflies and my wishing well came to life.

Now as most wells generally have a bucket I just had to have one too. So I made a bucket and attached it with a chain and added a heart charm to the end for a little bit of bling.

I have used bakers twine to trim around the bottom and some Ribtex crystals for some added bling.

Materials used - Twiddleybitz Wishing Well, Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Stain, bakers twine, texture paste, Ribtex crystals, Prima Violaceous Flowered Tendrils vine, Prima Petite Fleur Vine Aster & Scrapmatts chipboard butterflies 17.

Miss Nelly by Kaisercraft, I just love this collection the colours are truly gorgeous, it is definately one of my all time favs. Once again my love of fussy cut elements is again dominant on my page with lots of layers and dimension and for something different a non white background, something I haven't done in ages...lol.

Cogs, Cogs & More Cogs...

Monday Greeting!!

Well the school holidays are now over and it is time to get back to some normality. While I love the school holidays and the no morning rush factor it is nice to get back into routine.

Well it's another new month and as always with the start of all new months comes the release of new DT kits at Scrapping Outback. This kit is available and in store now, you can get it HERE.

This month I had the pleasure of working with a little kit that is very very boyish with rich slighly dirty grungy colours. I know I said boyish but please don't tell my daughter...I think my theme worked perfectly for them both.

Once I saw this little kit I knew I wanted to go with a grungy industrial type feel for my page.

Here is the page I created with the kit...

From the kit I have used almost everthing and this being - ribbon, cardstock cream and blue, Stella & Rose Hattie Boy patterned paper, Stella & Rose Hattie Buddies Tag (I trimmed this down to create my title), blue corrugated cardboard, chipboard Flourish 43 & tulle.

Other products used from my stash - Grey cardstock, Spellbinders Cog dies, assorted butterflies & paint, kaisercraft blue pearls & tim holtz pendant.

I decided to create lots of cogs and for this I used the Spellbinders Cog Die. I created them from the front and the back of the patterned paper and blue cardstock and then I added some grey cardstock from my stash to balance the colours. I also covered my chipboard flourish with the patterned paper and sanded the edges for the distressed look. To keep with my grungy feel I decided to make my own grungy tulle flower.

What a wet and overcast day we are having here today, perfect day for scrapping I think, but first I have a bbq to attend then the rest of the day I will be scrapping for sure.

I have a page to share to day that I did for the Scraptivators Cybercrop that is happening now over at Scrapping Outback. There is still time to play along and win some terrific prizes. Just check the Scrapping Outback Forum for full details.

I challenged the girls to use paint swatches on their layouts, as many or as few as they wanted. Their layouts had to only use the colours of the swatches and also had to be based on white or black cardstock only.

I have had the beautiful Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden papers for ages and I finally sat down yesterday and had a play with them. Fussy cutting once again and I loved it. In my element...lol. I took this photo of the kids a couple of weeks ago and wanted to scrap it badly and the colours of these papers worked beautifully. I love how the page finished up.

To create my page I have used the beautiful Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden - Butterfly Wings & Botanical Garden patterned papers, Kaisercraft Ruby Paper Blooms, Prima Exotic Gardenias, assorted miniture roses, Kaisercraft Rub Ons & Pearls.

Berry Sweet...

Howdy Everyone

Have a couple of things to share this post..Firstly my August DT Kit for Scrapping Outback. My kit this month was super cute and I had a great time creating with it. So just as the chippy title says in this kit it is Berry Sweet with bright fun colours of lime greens and reds with a little black thrown in for that extra wow factor.

MSR Reveal - Forever Angel

This is the final week for the My Scraproom Rules competition happening over at Scrapping Outback. One of the final mini challenges for this week was to alter a wooden spoon.

I have been wanting to do a manniquin for ages now so after visiting the Papercraft Show last weekend I was even more inspired to do so. So with my wooden spoon in hand and an idea in my head I went with it...and I love how it turned out.

My Forever Angel

To create my angel I have used a wooden spoon, scraps of tulle and feathers, ribbon, string pearls, paint, butterfly, Dusty Attic Fancy flourishes, Dusty Attic Wire Dress Form (available from Scrapping Outback), Assorted Roses, Kaisercraft wooden coasters, Kaisercraft black pearls, forever title chippy & finally a small crown charm for her necklace.

I just loved this challenge, who would have thought this from a wooden spoon.

Scrapping Outback - Imagine Mini Album

This week it was my turn to host the challenge for the My Scraproom Rules competition at Scrapping Outback. My challenge was a 'Macaron Tower Challenge' which required the entrants to create a mini album to my required criteria.

Here is my mini album all finished and looking beautiful...

To create my mini album I started with the beautiful Websters Pages Country Estate Calm Moments and Breezeway patterned papers as the base and then added Kaisercraft Fairy Floss Paper Blooms, Imagine Title Chipboard, Dusty Attic Ornate Frame #1 , Kaiser Black rubons - Dreams , Basic Hearts Chipboard, Assorted Roses - LGE, Prima - Fairytale Roses - Orchid, hinge rings, Prima Flight Of Fancy PP butterflies, Kaiser Love Notes Die Cut Elements, lace, paint and finally kindy glitz.

My idea for this challenge is that Macarons have a yummy biscult front and back and a gorgeous creamy centre. A mini album has a front and back cover and the centre is filled with beautiful memories. I know mine is....it is full of love.

Scrapping Outback - MSR Challenge 3 Reveal

Greetings Everyone...

Well it has been quiet a few days since my last post, I have had so much going on that it seems somedays there is just not enough hours in the day. Today I have come down with the flu and feel pretty blah but thought I would do a quich update.

So My Scraproom Rules is in full swing over at Scrapping Outback. It has been a lot of fun so far and we are already half way through the competition. The gallery is looking amazing so if you are looking for some inspiraion be sure to check it out.

I was assigned to do an example page for Challenge 3 - Alicias Mystery Box Challenge. I absolutely love my page and have been playing again with lots of dimension. We were given a list of mystery ingredients and had to use only those ingredients on the page. It was open to your own interpretation and this is mine.

Once created we then had to list our ingredients and put them into cooking terms. It was a really fun challenge and it is great to see all the different interpretations loading into the gallery.

Color Room Palette #55

Tuesday Greetings!!

Hope you all had a wonderful easter. We stayed home and had a quiet one but it was really enjoyable to spend time with family, watching movies, playing games and just having good old family fun.

I decided to play along with the Colour Room palette again this week. The pallete was yummy and bright and I couldn't help myself I just had to give it a go. We were back to a "Family Room" colour palette and here it is...

And this was my interpretation of it..

I used some of the Bo Bunny Gabrielle range, pieces from Websters Pages, Kaisercraft paper blossums, Jenni Bowlin Alphas, Basic Grey Alphas, Prima packaging, Bo Bunny Timepiece gems, raw cardboard and paint.

Scrap The Boys...

Happy hump day...lol

I found this great blog called Scrap The Boys, if you haven't found it yet you should go and check it out especially if you have little boys. Genarally I find myself scrapping so many pages of my daughter my little man seems to get left out. I have scrapped a few pages of him lately and have really enjoyed playing with more boyish colours, so when I found Scrap The Boys I couldn't resist but to play along.

The challenge for April is to get inspired by an outfit that your son or husband wears to create a layout. You needed to use the photo of the outfit (obviously being worn by your son or hubby) and the inspiration could be the colours, patterns, textures etc...

Well I chose to use the colour of his clothes as the inspiration behind my page. So the colours are orange, green, brown (on the inner edge of his colar) & creamy colour of the tabs on his shorts.

Here is my interpretation...

As I already had some leftovers of Bo Bunny Timepiece on my desk I chose to use them up as the colours would work perfectly for this challenge. I also used various shades of green and cream with the one bright orange flower and hints of orange on the butterflies to balance it out.

The Color Room #53 Colour Palette

How has everybodies weekend been?. Mine has been great had a wonderful time last night scrapping with the girls until the early hours of the morning. Must have been the company because I managed to finish 2 pages in one night which is a great accomplishment for me.

Colour Combos Galore #186

Happy Monday!!

So I have decided to play along again with this weeks Colour Combos Galore palette.

This was my interpretation of it..

The challenge for this week was to create a layout with layers inspired by the stairs in the background so for me this is my normal style of scrapping. I was also inspired by the polka dot patterns and the crisp white background.

Howdy everyone

Welcome to the beginning of another week, I still don't know where the weekend got to.

Anyways I have been stalking Colour Combos Galore for sometime now and when I saw the combo for this week I thought what great colours to scrap a page of my little man.

This was the inspiration board..

This is my interpretation of it..

I was inspired by the vibrance of the overall photo, the dark brown colour and polka dot pattern on the skirt, and also the bright orangy red pattern of flowers.

Websters Pages - Shaped Background

Tuesday Greetings!!

Well what a hot humid tuesday it is here today. I thought it was supposed to be Autumn but I guess mother nature has other ideas about that.

Today I have a page to share that I created for this months Websters Pages Shaped Background Challenge. I love using Websters products so for me it was a very enjoyable challenge.

Here is what I come up with...

HAPPINESS IS....For me times like this. I can see the love and joy in my kids faces. I adore this photo and I could so easily scrapbook it again and again.

And a close look.

I have used for this one - Websters Pages Seaside Retreat collection papers - Hide & Seek, New Discoveries & Readers Paradise, Dusty Attic Lamp Post #4 chippy and Happiness Is..chippy (available from Scrapping Outback), ribbon, assorted Prima blooms & Kaisercraft Love rub ons. I lightly inked the lamp post and title and have also added raw cardboard again for added texture.

Prima - March Product Palette

I thought I would play along this month with the Prima Product Palette. The palette was lots of shades of green. Green is a colour I am not fond of but I enjoyed stepping out of the comfort zone to have a go.

This is the product pick & palette....

This was my take on it..

My page had to be a Prima based so I used as much prima product as I could - Prima-Lilliput Roses Lime Cooler, Prima Strawberry Kisses Cherry Blossum PP, Prima Paisley Road Bhangra PP, Prima Pastiche Heartstrings PP, Prima Pastiche Vintage Garden PP, Prima Cameo White Roses & lastly some Prima flowers packaging.

I painted my background again using a dark green paint, distressed the edges of my patterned papers and added a piece of cardboard box again for added texture.

My Page Featured On The Websters Pages Blog...

Well for me it has been great. Today I recieved an email from the wonderful Brandin O"Neill... yes Brandin of Websters Pages. Dusty Attic March Sketch

Sunday Greetings!!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Although it is almost over here it has been great and the weather even better.

I thought I would play along with this months Dusty Attic Sketch Challenge. When I first saw the sketch I was a bit unsure but then have always been taught to take a sketch and make it your own, which I think I have done.

This is the sketch created by the wonderful Michelle Grant.

And this was my take on it..

I decided to minimalise the centre of the sketch and turn just slightly and then the outer frame I turned sideways and used it to sort of frame the centre of the sketch. I have all of the requirments of the sketch but as always I have added more as I like my pages full and embellished.

As a requirment of the challenge I have used Dusty Attis Fancy Trim chippy and a Dusty Attic Corner Flourish chippy.

Have also used Kaisercraft Paper Blooms Aubergine, assorted paper roses, Prima Heartstrings PP, Websters Pages Out For A Stroll PP, string pearls, Kaisercraft Pearls and paint.

Scrapping Outback - March White With A Twist

Howdy everyone!!!

I finally had a chance to sit down and have a play with this months White With A Twist colour combination, the colours of choice were red, chocolate brown and cream.

It was also my first scraplift so to speak. I found the layout somewhere on the internet, saved it, thought I really like how they did that, the prob is I have no idea who it was created by, so if you do see a page that looks similar to this one it maybe it...lol. Thank you to the person for the inspiration!!

Anyway after I altered and added extras this was my finished page.

I am really enjoying painting my backgrounds and tearing and distressing my papers lately, and I left my chippy title totally raw. Just love raw chipboard! Flowers and patterned papers are by Prima..love Prima!!

Get Picky Inspiration Challenge #5

Saturday Greetings!!

Hope you are all enjoying your Saturday. The weather here is rainy and cool but I won't complain after the heat we have endured this last week.

Now without further ado...I have been playing along over at GET PICKY again this time for their inspiration challenge.

This was the picture for us to use as inspiration...

Very yummy pink lovliness....I chose to draw inspiration from the colours and the rose petals by using lots of gorgeous mini roses...How nice would it be to come home to that scene???

This time I managed to do the right thing and used multiple photos. I so love this photo of my little niece. Once again I have lots of layers which means lots of dimension and have been tearing and distressing my paper edges again, not that you can really tell....lol.

Welcome to the first day of Autumn and what a hot sticky day it is. With it being the first of the month I get to reveal the gorgeous kit I have been working with.

This is my yummo design team kit.. yes it is meant to be 2011 not 2001 but how good would it be to turn back 10 years. When I think about it I would have been only scrapping for about 2 years...lol.

It is very pink and features the Basic Grey Bittersweet range of pattern papers. All I can say is I loved it and there is more then enough left after I created my page to create a few more. You can grab it from HERE at the Scrapping Outback shop.

This is my page, I used everything in the kit, but I added brown paint and old cardboard for added texture.

Scrapping Outback - March Sketch Reveal

Greeting everyone..

It is the start of a new month and with that comes the new Sketch Challenge at Scrapping Outback.

This is the sketch..

And this was my take on it.

I turned the sketch sideways and reduced the size of the sketch elements to create my page. I used a few left overs to create my page as I already had them out and thought I might as well use them.

I used fabric strips to create my flowers and had a bit of fun tearing and distressing the papers. I also added for a bit of texture some torn up cardboard box and left my chipboard title raw as it complimented the cardboard.

Products used available from Scrapping Outback are the Prima Flights Of Fancy pattern paper, fabric strips, chippy title.

I am absolutely stoked...I woke this morning to a wonderful email from Dena at Websters Pages telling me that my layout It's The Little Things will be the FEATURED BANNER layout for the week over at Inspire Me.

This is my page using the beautiful Websters Wonderfall Count Your Blessing PP. I cut and cut a bit more....lol. Lots of fussy cutting, layering and 3D dots later this was my finished page.

Get Picky - Febraury Sketch Challenge #5

Greeting everyone....

So I had been stalking and following Get Picky since it started but hadn't really had the time to jump on in and play along. When I saw this months sketch posted on facebook I thought I would give it a go.

So this is the Get Picky sketch....

And this was my take on it. As I only have nighttime to work on it and only had larger photos printed I reduced it down to only one 6x4 photo which I am not sure if I was allowed to do but still wanted to play along. As I like my pages highly embellished I added a fair bit to the sketch but if you look the basic design is still there.

I have used some offcuts of Websters Pages Sweet Season, Prima Paisley Road & Bo Bunny Whooligans Licorice patterned papers, Kaisercraft pearls, some scraps of lace, pizza box and Prima packaging.

February Mini Design Team Kit Reveal

This month I had the pleasure of playing with this super sweet little kit. I had a great time creating with it and I am sure you will to, so be sure to pick yourself up one from Scrapping Outback.

To add an extra splash on colour to my page I also added a few Prima red roses and some Prima Dark Green Mulberry Leaves. The Prima Dark Green Leaves are available from the SO shop and a good substitute for my little roses would be the Prima Symphony Blend Acceso Red roses also available from the Scrapping Outback.

White With A Twist Anyone???

So whats new...its raining again! It seems like that is all that it has done. On the few days we have had nice weather we try to go out and do fun stuff as a family, but the weather has made nice sunny days few and far between here lately.

I thought while the weather was bad I might also give my blog a revamp. All bright and fresh for the start of another year...or until I get sick of the look of it again...lol.

Well the new year is in full swing already and with the start of a new month come the new monthly challenges at Scrapping Outback. I am in charge of the White With A Twist Challenge. This month I picked o lovely cocktail of brown, pink, purple and blue. A little odd, but when I saw this cocktail I new it was a keeper....lol. Check out the forum HERE for full details and also see the other team girls creations.

This is my take on the challenge.

I used some yummy Bo Bunny patterned paper, Prima blossums, Kaiser gems some chipboard chicken wire and a chipboard title. The chickin wire and the Dream title are both available from the Scrapping Outback.

Also in December I had the pleasure of playing along with the 5 Product Kit Challenge. This is a challenge where you grab the kit from the shop and you are only allowed to used the 5 products in the kit nothing else to create a layout, well I have to say I was stoked with how my page turned out.

This kit is still avialable from HERE at Scrapping Outback. So go and grab it I would love to see what you can come up with.

Well it has just started pouring rain again, better go and see where my kids are as they wanted to ride their bikes and now they are going to be drenched for sure.

Wicked Wonderland Cybercrop Challenges Revealed

Well last weekend I had the pleasure of joining a wonderfully wicked bunch of girls down in the rabbit hole for our cybercrop. It was a lot of fun and we all had a great time.

Here a my 2 contributions for the Wicked Challenges.

The first was for my own challenge. It was called MAD AS A HATTER and the challenge is to create your own Mad Hatters Hat shaped page or OTP project. It is totally up to yourself but whatever you choose to do it has to be in the shape of the mad hatters hat.

I chose to do an OTP Mad Hatters Shape hat. I love how it turned out. I created this using the WICKED WONDERLAND KIT available from Scrapping Outback plus a few extras. I used a fabulous Rachelle Minnet designed SCARY TREE WITH MOON chippie also available from Scrapping Outback and some WRMK Heebie Jeebie stickers.

This next one was for Rachelles Double Up Challenge.

Once again I used the WICKED WONDERLAND KIT and a few extras.

A Few To Share...

Well the days are just clicking by so fast, before we know it Christmas will be here and gone. Have to admit though I thoroughly enjoy the looks on the kids faces on christmas morning, once Santa has been. There is nothing better.....

I have a couple of layouts to share. This first one was for my ONLINE CLASS at Scrapping Outback. It is using the beautiful Teresa Collins Designs Giving Thanks range.

Totally loved playing with that range, I love the vibrant orange it just gorgeous.

The next couple are pages just for me. The first one is of Brandan when he was littler playing hide and seek in the garden. I played around with some more TCD papers for this one.

This next one is of Brooke, I just love this page. Very clean and simple.

Well I am on a mission this weekend, hoping to put up the outside christmas lights if the stupid weather allows, so fingers crossed.

Just a quick update, well really just a sneek peek of a layout that I created using the December 5 Product Kit from Scrapping Outback. This kit is not yet available, so be sure to keep a close check at the Scrapping Outback shop. It was is a delight to work with and I love the finished layout, definately one of my favs for sure. For me to use just 5 products on a page is a challenge within itself....lol.

Well I have a couple of layouts that I could share, but I won't just yet as I don't want to jinx myself...hopefully I can share them real soon with some good news...well fingers, toes and everything else crossed that there possibly can be....lol.

Monthly Sketch Challenge...

Another release for the beginning of the month..the Monthly Sketch Challenge has begun again at SCRAPPING OUTBACK. The lovely Alicia was in charge of creating the sketch for this month.

This was my take on it for this month. It was a multi photo sketch which I chose to upsize. My topic of choice was my darling son Brandan.

I have loved these photos since the day I took them so I was really happy when this page just come together so easily.

I played with the gorgeous Bo Bunny Block Party Jamboree patterned paper for this one, totally loving the bright lime green, I added a few kaiser pearls and bling to give it extra sparkle. I used some Chipboard Cogs and Boys Will Be Boys Chippy title and both of these are available from the Scrapping Outback Store.

White With A Twist...

Its the first of the month and the White With A Twist Challenge has begun again for another month at SCRAPPING OUTBACK. The colours for this month - White with a twist of brown and pink. Truly delish......

This was my take on it for this month. A beautiful girly girl page of my daughter.

I did a bit of a stash raid to create this one but the bird cage chippie, country pink vintage doilies and those beautiful pink Prima roses are available from Scrapping Outback Store.

Let's Get Shabby!

I found this great challenge site called Let's Get Shabby. There is some fantastic inspiration to be found there, so if you get a chance go and check it out.

I decided to play along with CHALLENGE 16 that they have happening at the moment. This is the challenge requirements - PART 1 - choose a kitchen to be inspired by. I chose KITCHEN 2.

PART 2 - Here is the ingredients I needed to have on my project.

One piece of fabric - Tie On button
Two die cut shapes - 2x butterflies
Three colours from your chosen kitchen - pink, white & yellow.

You were allowed to use other items on the page but you had to make sure you included the recipe requirements.

Here is my take on challenge 16. I just love how it turn out, so sweet and girly!!

I painted the sign post, fence and daughter title white then once dried I sanded them to give them that shabby look. I then painted the butterflies pale yellow, sanded them and then applied Crystallina Kindy Glitz to give them a slight shimmer.

The larger flowers are made from Sandras wonderful crotched doilies available from HERE at the Scrapping Outback shop. The signpost, fence, butterflies and daughter title are all available HERE from the Scrapping Outback shop. I also used Prima - Fairytale Roses - Orchid available from HERE at the shop.

Wicked Wonderland Cybercrop!

Well the school holidays are over and today we had a beautiful sunny day that the kids would have killed for. What was with the weather over the school holidays crappy rain. I am so glad that we didn't go away for the holidays.

My little man lost his second tooth over the holidays and I have a funny story to share, I tried to pull out his little tooth as did dad but it was still firmly planted in there. I told him to go in and brush his teeth and he come running out of the bathroom in tears. What's wrong I asked him....his reply my tooth just fell out when I spat out the toothpaste and it went down the drain. I said did you turn the water off...yes mummy. Into the bathroom I go water still running so daddy come in and took off the drain pipe, turns out that DS had put one of his magnetix down the drain a while ago and the tooth got wedged under it lucky for him. Daddy rescued the tooth yay, but I have never felt so bad.

I am able to share my recent projects now as it is past the first of the month. The first is my October Design Team Kit. It was full of funky, retro girly papers and embellishments from the Crate Paper Bliss Range. I had so much fun scrapping with it.

Here are a couple of pages I created with it....WARNING LOTS OF FUSSY CUTTING but so worth it!

I also had to create my own challenge this month, so I decided to call it PASSION FOR PAPER. You can find out all details HERE, but basically patterned paper has to be the main embellishment on the page. This is my take on my own challenge, I love how it turned out.

I just love how this page turned out. I have never really been one for yellow but I just love the softness of the page.

This next page was for the Sketch challenge, you can find out all of the details HERE. This is my favourite page at the moment, which is why my blog is now decorated using it. I just love the colours.

Something To Share!!

Ok so the rain rain can go away...What is it with rain and school holidays? Poor kids haven't even been able to go outside and play because of this stupid weather. On the bonus side though I have been able to scrap. Not that I can share to much of that with you at the moment.

As you would probably know Scrapping Outback just had their Twilight Cybercrop. It was totally fantastic and I had a wonderful time, they are such a great bunch of girls. This friday night they are having an after party to announce all of the winners, so if you are interested in finding out who won and play a few games come and join in the fun.

Now I can share with you a couple of the pages I did for the challenges. The first was for my challenge which was to scrap your fantasy man. So for me to keep with the twilight theme I chose Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen.

I created a super sexy corset to display those gorgeous pictures on. I was extremely happy with how this page turned out. This next one was for the Obsession challenge. For this challenge you had to scrap your obsession so for me I chose Twilight and Edward again.

And so now I have to get going the kids are arguing but then what is new as most parents would know. I hope you manage to get through the school holidays in one piece and I travelling travel safe!! I will be back to update again real soon.

Lots To Share!!!

Well thought it was about time I stopped in again for another share of what I have been up to. I have been working on some stuff behind the scenes for the upcoming Twilight Cybercrop at Scrapping Outback. Here is a little sneak peek of what my challenge is going to be.

If you haven't yet been and signed up for it there is still time to do so. Just go over to the SCRAPPING OUTBACK FORUM and register. There are heaps of prizes up for grabs and lots of fun challenges and games. Plus you get to chat with a great bunch of girls.

They also have the monthly challenges happening as well. All that you need to do to earn yourself some SO cash to spend in the Scrapping Outback Shop is complete the monthly challenges, and for each challenge you complete you will earn yourself $2 SO dollars. So if you complete all the challenges you will have quiet a nice stash of SO dollars.

The first for the month is the SKETCH CHALLENGE. This one I found a bit of a challenge myself. The idea of a sketch is to use it as inspiraton but make it your own. Here is the sketch for September.

And this was my take on it...

I represented the circle elements of the sketch with cut out flowers and I layered them in a similar arrangement to the circle arrangement of the sketch behind the photo of Brooke. I totally love how this page turned out...

The next one is the WHITE WITH ONE CHALLENGE and the colour chosen this month was BLACK. This one was a lot of fun to do...

And now finally I have this page that I created totally for me. It is of Brandan playing in the backyard on his tractor on a beautiful autumn day. I was telling him he wasn't allowed to stand on the bonnet of his tractor because he would fall off, but you guessed it he wasn't happy about that at all. I wanted to create the feel of autumn with this page and I think I did pretty well.

A Quick Share.....

At a recent cybercrop at Scrapping Outback I won a pack of crotcheted doilies. Well I fell in love with them and decided to do a product showcase on using them.

These are the layouts I created using them. The first one is of Brooke and even though it is a christmas page I stayed away from traditional christmas colours and went with PINK!! I just loved the soft contrasting pinks of this doily set.

And this next one is another sweet soft pastelly page.

Normally I steer clear of yellow but I so loved how this one turned out. A splash of pale green and the page just fell together.

Well as I said it was a quick post....better be going to put on dinner and do the afternoon run.

Layouts and Challenges Happening At Scrapping Outback

Hi everyone...I have made it back for another post. So since my last post life has been busy. We have had the kids sports days which were so much fun to watch. We went to Cruise For Charity on Sunday and had fantastic time and Brandan celebrated his 6th birthday.

What do you tell a 6 year old child when he asks why people haven't rung for his birthday....seriously I really don't know what to say to him. I most definately will be sticking with my new years resolution this year.

Well I have been having fun creating. I recieved my first awesome DT package from Scrapping Outback and what can I say, but that I love it and have had agreat time playing with it.

I had to create my very first challenge for the month of August and I decided to call it Think Outside The Square...I want to see pages with shape - no square or rectangle (A4) pages allowed for this one. But the catch is it must also have a TAG somewhere on the page.

They have some SO dollars being given away for every challenge complete for the month. Now that is easy dollars earnt for doing something you enjoy.

The very talented Julie was in charge of the sketch challenge for month. This is the sketch....

And this was my take on it..

I was also in charge of doing a sample page for the 4 Product Challenge....and what can I say it was a challenge for more because I like very full and embellished pages and I only had 4 products to use. The kit itself is fabulous full of bright colours. This is the page I created with it.

And finally this one is made from pieces of my DT kit plus some of my prizes from the cybercrop.

I am so loving these fabulous crotched doilies at the moment made by the Sandra and available from the SO Shop. They are well worth a look if you are looking for something a little different.

Fantastic News And Layouts To Share....

Finally I can share....I am so happy to have been asked to join the Design Team over at Scrapping Outback. What other answer would I have had but YES!! They are such a friendly group of girls over there and I am most definately happy to call it home.

Last Friday they had a cybercrop happening over there. It was so much fun!! It was nice to be able to spend time doing something for me for a change with out the pressure. Anyways through out the night they released various challenges and I thought I would share the 2 that I managed to get done.

The first one was an inspiration challenge. We had to create a layout drawing inspiration from this picture.

This was my take on the challenge. I was inspired by the colours, the circles and of course those black stars. It is of Brandan playing in the sand at the beach on a cold winters day. Still don't know why we went there when it was so cold....lol.

And the 2nd challenge I have managed to complete was the Door Hanger Challenge. The theme was open and could go for any room of your home. I decided that since Brookes room is in the theme of Twilight I would make a hanger for her door, even though I wouldn't mind keeping it for myself....lol.

I LOVED this challenge as you can probably tell...lol.

I used Bella Glitz Chipboard Alphas to give that special Edward glimmer and Yes that is the Cullen Crest warning the wolves not to enter...lol.

Well that is about all for now..gotta get going for Brandans first sports day. Hopefully will manage to get some good photos of him.

Something To Share!

So my first official blog post in gosh I don't know how long....Well I hurt my back on Wednesday and I have been in pretty bad pain. I haven't been able to do much at all so I sat and scrapped when my pain was bearable...lol. Hubby took the kiddos fishing today as well so with no interuptions it was total bliss....

I had a play along with a couple of challenges happening over at Scrappin Outback. One is a colour challenge and the other is a sketch challenge. So if you have any spare time and feel like a challenge why not go play along there are great prizes up for grabs.

First the colour challenge - White with one other colour that being purple. I don't really like purple but love how the layout turned out. It is of my darling little niece and the photos went perfectly with it.

I have a couple of little close ups for you. I have a favourite product and that is core board. I just love it!!! That is what I made the big buttons with.

The next one was for the sketch challenge. I was always told to take a sketch and make it your own, so that I did. I added to it and really like how it turned out. It had to be bright summery colours so I chose to play with some Basic Grey and WRMK papers for this one.

And a couple of close ups for you...

The photos are of my darling daughter...I sill can't believe how much she has grown since those photos were taken.
